This instrument has been designed for Rockwell hardness tests on helicoidally springs of various sizes.

The instrument provides a wide, adjustable resting surface which allows the positioning of springs with external diameter ranging from 20mm to 500mm; for springs with smaller diameter, a dedicated accessory is available. 

The peculiarity of this instrument is an innovative (patented) coil self-centering system, which results in a valuable reduction of the test execution time and a greater accuracy.
